The partners of Massillamany Jeter & Carson LLP elected Chris Jeter to serve as the firm’s first managing partner beginning on January 1, 2018. Mr. Jeter indicated that his goal was to continue the firm’s steady growth trajectory with a focus on client services. “I want to continue to put systems and processes in place that allow us to maximize the time we spend servicing our clients,” Jeter said. “We have learned over the past two-and-a-half years that when you focus on clients first, everything else tends to fall into place.”
Chris Jeter graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the Oklahoma Baptist University in 2001 where he was elected class president all four years. He went on to earn his law degree from The George Washington University Law School, where he finished in the top 25% of his class and received top grades in pre-trial and trial advocacy. Mr. Jeter focuses his practice on advising small and medium-sized business, complex commercial litigation, and estate planning. Mr. Jeter spent seven years on active duty in the United States Navy as a JAG officer where he served in numerous legal positions with various military commands in the United States and abroad. Prior to starting his own firm, he worked at Barnes & Thornburg LLP for almost three years.
