Danielle Merlo
Associate Attorney
Danielle Merlo is an associate attorney at Massillamany Jeter and Carson LLP.
Prior to joining Massillamany Jeter and Carson LLP, Danielle clerked for the Honorable Judge Jonathan M. Brown in Hamilton County Superior Court 2.
Education History
Danielle obtained her law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She was selected by the Indiana Supreme Court to be a part of the Indiana Conference for Legal Education Opportunity (ICLEO) fellowship program. During her time at IU McKinney, she served as the president of both the Federalist Society and the Christian Legal Society. Danielle was also a student ambassador for her law school. She was awarded the Norman Lefstein Award of Excellence for her completion of over 200 hours of pro bono service for the United States Coast Guard Judge Advocate General.
Danielle attended the University of Indianapolis and graduated summa cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in Political Science. While at UIndy, she was an NCAA Division II swimmer.
Admissions
Danielle is admitted to the Indiana State Bar as well as both the United States Northern and Southern District Courts of Indiana.
In her spare time, Danielle loves to cook, travel, and spend time with her family and friends.
