Education Attorney, Tom Blessing, Represents Family

In our August blog, “Parents of Disabled Child Take Legal Action to Get Him Back in School,” we discussed Attorney Tom Blessing’s case concerning a severely handicapped boy at Hamilton Southeastern Schools (HSE) who could not receive occupational, speech, and physical therapy, nor academic instruction due to COVID-19 restrictions. Fast-forward to December, we have updates on this case. Dyllan Dague, our client’s son, is now attending school in-person and will continue to do so even though the rest of the district will remain virtual until January 15th at the very least. “It’s so important for him to be in person because he requires very specific supports that can’t be done virtually,” said Mrs. Dague, Dyllan’s mother.

We are thrilled to learn that our client’s son is thriving and feel proud of Attorney Blessing’s hard work in fighting for this successful result. To read further about this case, click here. We encourage you to contact us at (317) 434-1490 if you would like to learn how we can best serve you.
