Massillamany Jeter & Carson LLP File Tort Claim Notice Against the Indiana State Police, Mayor Joe Thallemer, Kosciusko County and Warsaw City Council

(Fishers, IN) – Mario Massillamany, partner at law firm of Massillamany Jeter & Carson LLP, filed a tort claim notice against the Indiana State Police, Mayor Joe Thallemer, Kosciusko County and Warsaw City Council on behalf of citizen Chad Zartman. State Police seized Chad Zartman’s personal property during a Warsaw City Council meeting on March 28, 2019. It wasn’t until after his personal property was taken, two cell phones, did Indiana State Police Officers write a probable cause affidavit and search warrant containing many falsehoods. Chad Zartman was targeted for exercising his First Amendment right to freedom of speech.

“Every citizen in America should have the right to speak freely about political issues and not be targeted by the government;” said managing partner Mario Massillamany. Mr. Massillamany was shocked that this type of behavior is being used to stifle political opposition. “I’ve been fortunate in my life that I have the means to fight against these violations of my first amendment rights. I’m standing up for my rights and the rights of those who have not been as lucky.” Said Chad Zartman.
