(Fishers, IN) – Brittany Lewin and Robert Miller have joined Massillamany & Jeter LLP as the firm’s first summer interns. Both interns just competed their first year of law school at Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law in downtown Indianapolis. Ms. Lewin, originally from the Chicago area, graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Mr. Miller was born in Indianapolis and graduated from IUPUI where he studied political science and economics.
“We are excited to welcome our first two summer interns amidst our rapid growth in the central Indiana legal market,” said Partner Chris Jeter. “These two interns have impeccable credentials both in education and life experience,” he added. Mr. Jeter emphasized that Brittany and Robert joind at a perfect time. “They could not have joined us at a better time as business continues to pick up across all of our practice areas,” he said.
Partner Mario Massillamany explained that Massillamany & Jeter LLP has adopted a policy of allowing interns to see the practice and business of law in ways that law school cannot teach. “Our interns don’t sit at their desks and write memos all day,” he stated. “They will be in court, meeting with witnesses, and finding real ways to add value for our clients by solving their everyday problems,” Mr. Massillamany added.
